C&rsquo;est une&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gares_patrimoniales_du_Canada\">gare patrimoniale<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\">En 1847, la premi\u00e8re section du chemin de fer de St-Laurent et Atlantique est b\u00e2tie de Longueuil \u00e0 Saint-Hyacinthe. Plusieurs citoyens en deviennent alors actionnaires. La voie ferr\u00e9e passe au nord de la r\u00e9gion construite et habit\u00e9e. Puis ce n&rsquo;est que le 24 d\u00e9cembre 1848 que la premi\u00e8re locomotive fut vue \u00e0 Saint-Hyacinthe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gare_de_Saint-Hyacinthe#cite_note-3\">La gare actuelle fut construite en 1900<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gare_de_Saint-Hyacinthe#cite_note-4\">4. Pour faciliter la circulation et diminuer l&rsquo;attente et les risques d&rsquo;accidents caus\u00e9s par le passage des trains, la municipalit\u00e9 fait creuser des tunnels. Le plus ancien, rue Girouard, date de 1900. En 1942, tout pr\u00e8s de la gare, on inaugure le tunnel pour automobilistes et pi\u00e9tons de l&rsquo;avenue Sainte-Anne, ainsi que deux tunnels pi\u00e9tonniers situ\u00e9s sur les avenues Laframboise (pratiquement sous la gare actuelle) et Bourdages Nord<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gare_de_Saint-Hyacinthe#cite_note-5\">.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color
