La gare de Shawville sera b\u00e2tie vers 1887 et verra marchandises et passagers y transiter pendant 80 ans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le b\u00e2timent sera ensuite ferm\u00e9 et condamn\u00e9 lorsque le service aux passagers sera supprim\u00e9. En 1973, le Comit\u00e9 historique du Pontiac parviendra \u00e0 sauver le b\u00e2timent de la d\u00e9molition en le rachetant et en le d\u00e9pla\u00e7ant sur son site actuel, au coin des terrains de la foire agricole de Shawville. Depuis 1975, l\u2019ancienne gare abrite le Mus\u00e9e historique du Pontiac g\u00e9r\u00e9 par la&nbsp;<em>Pontiac Historical Society<\/em>.
