La nouvelle gare attire Armstrong and Cook Limited, qui \u00e9tablit son si\u00e8ge social au village en 1890. Attir\u00e9e par la pr\u00e9sence de la nouvelle gare du Canadien Pacifique, la Armstrong and Cook Limited \u00e9tablit son si\u00e8ge social \u00e0 Montreal Junction en 1890. Cette entreprise, fond\u00e9e \u00e0 Toronto par James Armstrong et John Jeremiah Cook, fait de la promotion fonci\u00e8re et immobili\u00e8re. Elle acquiert les fermes de Benjamin et de Marie-Eug\u00e8ne D\u00e9cary. La propri\u00e9t\u00e9 ainsi acquise couvre les rues Wolseley, Strathearn, Westminster, Ballantyne et Brock entre les voies ferr\u00e9es du Grand Tronc au sud et du Canadien Pacifique au nord. L\u2019entreprise fait lotir les terres qu\u2019elle vend ensuite \u00e0 des particuliers. Certains des lots sont imm\u00e9diatement construits, d\u2019autres pas. Plusieurs mod\u00e8les de r\u00e9sidence sont offerts aux acheteurs.&nbsp;<br>En parall\u00e8le au d\u00e9veloppement de la Armstrong and Cook Limited, David S. Leach vend \u00e9galement des lots de sa propri\u00e9t\u00e9 qui s\u2019\u00e9tend \u00e0 l\u2019ouest de la rue Wolseley. Parmi les aqu\u00e9reurs se trouve un syndicat d\u2019acheteurs form\u00e9 par un groupe d\u2019employ\u00e9s du Canadien Pacifique qui, vers 1890, acqui\u00e8rent en une seule transaction 24 lots destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la construction r\u00e9sidentielle. Les rues Percival et Bedbrook sont nomm\u00e9es d\u2019apr\u00e8s les initiateurs du projet, soit William James Percival et Edward J. Bedbrook.&nbsp;<br>En 1897, la Ville de Montr\u00e9al-Ouest est incorpor\u00e9e. La ville compte alors une cinquantaine de maisons. La Armstrong and Cook Limited poursuit ses activit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement jusqu\u2019au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1910.&nbsp;Petit \u00e0 petit, une population s&rsquo;\u00e9tablit autour de la gare avec la construction d&rsquo;habitations. \u00ab&nbsp;Parmi les acqu\u00e9reurs se trouve un syndicat d\u2019acheteurs form\u00e9 par un groupe d\u2019employ\u00e9s du Canadien Pacifique qui, vers 1890, acqui\u00e8rent en une seule transaction 24 lots destin\u00e9s \u00e0 la construction r\u00e9sidentielle&nbsp;\u00bb. Elle servait les trains de banlieue; en 1959, des locomotives&nbsp;<\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pacific_(locomotive)\">Pacific<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;et&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/232_(locomotive)\">Hudson<\/a><\/em>&nbsp;du Canadien Pacifique tiraient ces trains entre Montr\u00e9al-Ouest et la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Gare_Windsor\">gare Windsor<\/a>. La gare offrait des pelouses bien entretenues et des jardins paysagers le long des rails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Source <a
